School Transport
We can offer free school travel assistance if your child meets specific eligibility criteria. While we support your right to apply for your preferred school, free transport is only available to the nearest suitable school with available spaces.
If you select a school further away, you will likely be responsible for your child’s transportation. However, you can still apply, and we will assess your request.
If you’re not eligible for free school travel assistance, you may have the option to pay for it if there is available space. Please note, you must apply each year for non-entitled school travel assistance, even if a space was provided in the previous year.
SEN Transport
Your child may qualify for special educational needs travel assistance if they are 16 years old or younger and have an Education, Health, and Care (EHC) plan.
The school must be the one listed in the plan and located beyond the walking distance specified in our policy. If you select a different school, you will likely be responsible for arranging transportation, but you can still submit an application, and we will assess it accordingly.
Would You Volunteer?
We're always on the lookout for new volunteers to help with our wellbeing car service. Volunteers are reimbursed at 50p per mile, by our members once they've dropped them back home.
